Shore Urgent Care’s comprehensive school and sports physicals are offered for a set fee of $55.

Shore Urgent Care offers Covid-19 testing during all hours of operation. We offer both the gold standard COVID-19 PCR test (which is sent out to a lab), or the Rapid COVID-19 antigen test (the 15 minute test). The COVID PCR is the gold standard for asymptomatic patients or patients with symptoms for more than 5 days. The Rapid test is accurate, if used to determine COVID status for patients with two or more COVID symptoms for 5 days or less. Our highly trained providers will evaluate you and determine the best method of testing.
In accordance with CDC COVID-19 guidelines, we ask all of our patients to wear a mask at all times within the facility. All patients will check in at a kiosk upon entering. Once you have checked in, you are free to wait in our lobby or from the comfort of your car. We do ask family members or friends to wait outside, unless they are a caregiver or at Shore Urgent Care with a minor. Everyone’s safety is our priority.

Is Medicare accepted?
Yes, however Shore Urgent Care does bill you for any deductible, co-insurance or co-pays if Medicare does not pay.
Is Medicaid accepted?
How do I pay for my visit?
All fees are due at the time of service in accordance with the requirements of your insurance plan.
What if I don’t have insurance?
Shore Urgent Care accepts self-pay patients. Payment is due at the time of service
What are acceptable forms of payment?
Cash, Check, MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover.
How are Automobile or Worker’s Compensation claims processed?
Shore Urgent Care accepts Automobile and Worker’s Compensation initial injuries. We ask that you bring as much information as possible, including claim number, insurance carrier and insurance adjustor. We will work with your carriers to make certain we have all of the proper billing information.
How will I know if my insurance company covers the cost of services?
Shore Urgent Care can verify insurance coverage prior to or during your visit. You can also check coverage by calling the number shown on your insurance plan card.
What if I forgot my insurance card?
With your help and permission, we will make every attempt to get a copy of your insurance card and your benefits information.
What should I expect regarding co-pay?
Your insurance carrier dictates co-pays. We will collect a Specialist co-pay amount unless your insurance indicates there is a separate Urgent Care co-pay.
My co-pay to see my physician is usually lower. Why is it higher at Shore Urgent Care?
Everything is dictated by your health insurance carrier, so if your co-pay is higher, it is the result of an agreement with your insurance and your employer.
Why did I receive a bill from a laboratory?
While Shore Urgent Care may draw your labs, we are required to send specimens for the actual testing to the laboratory indicated by your insurance carrier.
Shore Urgent Care is committed to making the billing process as easy and convenient as possible. Our patient account representatives are happy to help with any questions you might have regarding the billing process or your account, and will work hard to ensure you receive the full benefits you are entitled to through your insurance coverage.
Direct Billing to Insurance Providers
On your behalf, Shore Urgent Care will verify your coverage either prior to or during your visit and bill your insurance company on your behalf for the services we provide. Once we have heard back from your insurance providers, we will send you a detailed statement that explains the payments that we received and the remaining balance, if any. You should also receive an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from your insurance company, which lists the services provided at Shore Urgent Care, the amount that was billed, all payments made by your insurance providers and what is your responsibility to pay.
