Shore Physicians Group leaders present at the American Medical Group Association National Conference
Shore Physicians Group (SPG) leaders presented at the American Medical Group Association (AMGA) National Conference held at the World Center Marriott, Orlando, Florida on March 12. Representing SPG were Mark Stephens, Chief Administrative Officer, David P. May, MD, FACS, President, and Cindy Miller, Director of Network Development.
The SPG Team was chosen by AMGA as an “innovative medical group to present game-changing solutions and inventive techniques to align physicians and create a unified Provider / Staff Culture.”

Mark Stephens, Chief Administrative Officer Shore Physicians Group
Mark, a seasoned healthcare executive, has extensive expertise in group practice formation/ development. Mark helped build and was President/CEO of InterMountain Medical Group. In 2012, Mark joined Shore Medical Center to form Shore Physician Group which has grown to 60+ providers in three years. Mark participates in AMGA’s CEO Council.
David P. May, MD, FACS, President Shore Physicians Group
Dr. May specializes in Minimally Invasive, Oncologic and Breast surgeries. One of the founding physicians of Shore Physicians Group in 2012, he became President of the Group in January 2015. Dr. May has been a champion of culture shift and instrumental in shaping the values and direction of the organization.
Cindy Miller, Director of Network Development Shore Physicians Group
In 2012 Cindy joined SPG to help develop the physician network, service lines, community/business partnerships and group culture. Cindy bought nearly 20 years of casino/hospitality experience in cultural development, training, recruitment and marketing. Her hospitality experience has contributed to SPG’s unique approach to building a culture based on provider/staff shared vision/goals.
